While we all LOVE working, sometimes a good vacation is a must. In other cases, you wake up just under the weather.
In these cases, there is a need to document days off. For better clarification, here’s a small list of what to do and when.
No-limit vacation policy
If you want to take a day or a couple of days off, we are happy to supply it, we actually encourage it. We are a performance-based company, very demanding of results, which leads to higher burn, which also means we do not keep track of time. If you want to take a vacation, all we ask is - to be responsible, talk to your team, and make sure everything is being taken care of. No need to ask for permission, we have complete confidence in you.
Days Off
If you want to take the day off, go on a vacation, or any other lengthy time off, that’s what you need to do. Please make sure your team knows you are not needed that day, and if you are, make sure someone else on your team knows what needs to be done. This includes events like:
- Vacations
In these cases, please either fill out a day off in our system or write an email to your direct supervisor.
Sick Day
If you need to take the day off because you are under the weather. Please make sure someone on your team knows what needs to be done, and take a day off and recover. This includes events like:
- Sickness
In these cases, please either fill out a sick day in our system or write an email to your direct supervisor.
Normal fully remote
As a fully remote and async-based company, we are very much suited for odd working hours and days. If you want to take the morning off and have a nice breakfast with your partner, some service provider needs to visit you, or any event like that, no worries! As long as you make sure your team is aware and you plan on working different hours/days no need to fill in a day off. In the odd case, it became an entire day out; write it down later. This includes events like:
- Change working hours
- Change working days
