My Professional Journey
At the age of 27 my geekness took over and I went to study Information systems management at BGU (Kingdom of Camels - Beer Sheva) where I fell in love with OOP and programming, ended up teaching programming privately for 80 hours a week from there I joined Siemens PLM as a Fullstack Dev, Wochit as a senior Java Dev & the crazy journey of Deliverr —> Shopify —> Flexport ending up as a Staff Software Engineer doing B2B Fulfillment using Node.js + Typescript + Serverless
I’d love to believe i’m holding strong opinions loosely held
If I’m asked about my strong passions / Opinions about our world I would say that i’m the most passionate about Simplification & Automation, I truly believe humans should not do repetitive tasks, thats what computers are for. I love impacting, and love the most impacting for the underserved community of our product, I find that the smallest changes there make huge impact.
Private Life
Married a Croatian medical doctor I found by accident in Thailand during a trip little more than a decade ago
We have Two Kids, Adam(2021) & Ella (2023) we are having a very interesting mixed family, Croatian & Israeli, Living in Zagreb now just under grandma. I love Traveling, Cycling, Snowboarding, watching youtube, fixing stuff and playing with my kids and watching them grow.
