How: (Open toggle)

  1. Before the party, ask your team members to anonymously write down a brief, interesting, or funny story from their childhood. Let them know it should be a story they are comfortable sharing and one they haven't previously shared with the team.
  2. Collect all the stories and number each one. Create a display of all the numbered stories.
  3. At the event, each participant is writing the name of the participants to him/herself. They match the childhood stories to the corresponding team members by writing the story number next to each person's name.
  4. The person who matches the most stories correctly wins. In the event of a tie, have a few extra stories ready for a tiebreaker round.
  5. After the game, consider reading the stories and revealing who each belongs to. This often results in shared laughter and deeper connections among the team.
